Design

I fell in love with graphic design when I opened Adobe Photoshop for the first time in 2009. I’ve been hooked ever since!

I enjoy using whatever platform suits my project’s needs — whether it’s Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Procreate, or pen and paper.

My interest in web design came later — I built my first line of custom code as a marketing and communications intern with Virginia Tech’s Division of Student Affairs. Now, I utilize Adobe Ensemble in my role at Virginia Tech; and Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress, and a variety of other CMS platforms as a freelancer.

In an effort to reach our peer institutions in more creative ways, I developed this printed postcard to send to industrial and systems engineering department heads across the country. The card highlighted recent faculty and research achievements for the department, and directed traffic to a UTM-tracked site.
